Though New Jersey commuters are no strangers to calling “bull s—t” on their morning treks to work, this frustrated refrain got a whole lot more literal on Thursday morning after a loose bull caused 45-minute delays on several NJ Transit trains.
NJ TRANSIT rail service is subject to up to 45 minute delays between Newark Penn and PSNY, due to Police activity near Newark Penn Station. NJ TRANSIT rail tickets and passes are being cross-honored by PATH and Hoboken, Newark Penn and 33rd Street New York.

First spotted at roughly 10:30 am, the rogue bull decided to use its newfound freedom to visit the unhappiest place on earth, dropping by Newark’s Penn Station where it proceeded to roam across the tracks to the horror — and amusement — of several commuters.

While it remains unclear where, exactly, this bull came from, it’s clear he will most definitely not make it to work on time, officials quickly captured and tranquilized the out-of-place mammal and transported it to an animal sanctuary.
We can only hope that this bull can serve as an inspiration to the (possibly sadistic) overlords of NJ Transit — to paraphrase @biz_socks our boy is moving faster than most NJ Transit trains.
